All good with the job except one minor thing.
Rain gutter vibration.
When i push the flashing back against the gutter maybe a 1 8 to 1 4 gap the noise either stops or abates.
As the rain flows from your roof the water should slide gently from piece to piece until it arrives quietly on your front lawn or garden.
But when leaves twigs or other debris clog your gutters the water might not flow so peacefully.
Your gutters have a clog.
It didn t involve rain gutters but it probably should have.
Thankfully there are some tricks to dampening this nerve grating sound.
Gutters work best when completely clear.
Trying to sleep rest or work with the annoying sound of water dripping and trickling through your gutter downspouts can be maddening even when the noise volume isn t very high.
We ve had some higher than normal winds lately and apparently 2 out of the many downspouts on this particular job vibrate and make a pretty loud noise under those conditions.
The gutter itself is solidly attached from what i can tell.
