Raising the roof of a pole barn is a lot of work you are basically starting from stratch because even after removing the steel siding roofing removing the trusses and other framing you would probably need to install taller support posts around the perimeter to increase the overall height of the building.
Each section would be 34 feet wide and just over 18 feet long.
It has a roof on it and can have walls surrounding it if you desire.

I did something like this when i conserved a barn built by henry ford in 1873 except i used 1 2 thick plates by the width of the timber which varied from 8 11.
It is harder for things to get cluttered when you can constantly see what is going on.
To raise the barn roof simply use a series of 5 ton or larger bottle jacks on the floor at the base of each post with a 4x4 timber atop each jack.
So far the best thing i have come up with is to do the ceiling in three sections.
If i cut the joist off near the rafter and raise the floor up the joists will again be more than long enough because the roof is radiused.
